Breast lift

Breastlift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts. If your breasts are small or have lost volume – for example, after pregnancy – breast implants inserted in conjunction with mastopexy can increase both their firmness and their size.

Breast lifts are usually performed under general anaesthesia. Mastopexy usually takes about two hours. A patient who was admitted to the clinic will be released in 24 hours following the operation. After surgery, you’ll need to wear a special bra around the clock for four weeks as an outside source of support to keep the breast shape.

Scarring is an unavoidable part of this type of plastic surgery. If you have minor breast sagging, there will be a thin scar around the edge of the areola. If you have very saggy breasts, then you will have a vertical scar that runs down the base of the breast from underneath the nipple in addition to the scarring around the areola. In some cases, there will also be a scar that runs horizontally underneath the breast crease. The final breast lift results are apparent only within a year following your surgery.

During the consultation, you will get more information about scars and breast  augmentation in your case, possible complications, factors determining the surgery price. Dr. Darius Radzevičius will also show before-and-after photographs of the treated patients.
